Easily the most aesthetically appealing bar I’ve ever been in. A great restaurant disguised as a vintage dive bar, but not in a pretentious way. Interesting drink options on the menu.

The food is outstanding. Talk about doing judge a book by its cover. Not the spot you expect to come for really good quality food that’s simple but really thoughtful. Highly recommended - hard to explain easy to eat. Enjoy!

Lovely dark bar with a good vibe and better food. $4.75 Narragansett, several brekkie taco options for all diets. All delicious. Super cool spot. Can't wait to come back!

Dive bar vibes, but the menu is definitely not your typical pub grub. We had the Chanterelle mushroom quesadilla, Creamy ranchero dip, Smoked wings and a Shrimp Po’ boy sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious! Great cocktail and beer selection too. Our server Jess F was fabulous. It was a very busy Sunday night, gearing up for live music and she managed to still be friendly, attentive and efficient. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu and enjoy the atmosphere.

My new favorite restaurant spot in Cambridge. I went three times in the week I was working at MIT. All the dishes are good. Their katsu sandwich is probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The oysters are fresh. The fried chicken has so much flavor (if you get Nashville hot you'll enjoy it too but through tears of pain) As great as the food is, I'll praise the service more. Jess especially is an amazing server. She has that magnetic aura that makes a person feel like they're already friends. What a cool person. Almost forgot to add, their fries are amazing... dangerously amazing. For my own health I have to stop getting them, I end up eating all of it and wanting more.

I've been coming to State Park for years. Love the vibe, great drinks, and they always have a few new items on the menu. If they have the butternut squash creme de pot for dessert (sounds odd I know), give it a try - it was fantastic!

This place is exactly what you want out of a dive. Good vibe, warm atmosphere, no frills, and surprisingly good food. Food punches well above its weight for a place like this. Beer list is pleasant, with several options (national, local, and import). Duck nachos are awesome because each chip is loaded so your bite is perfect. The kale Cesar is surprisingly good (I’m not a salad guy). Wings looked better than they tasted and were admittedly average (think they could have used a few more min in the fryer), as was the sandwich, but overall I was pleased with everything we got.

Every time I go to State Park, it's such a pleasant experience. I go a few times a month, and even when it's been a while, I feel like I go every single day. The staff treat you like a friend/regular, the food is always fresh, and the cocktails/drinks are always cold and hit the spot. Cannot recommend this place ENOUGH

My wife and I visited thinking State Park was an actual dive bar - we were very wrong! It’s closer to a Michelin star restaurant with a dive bar theme than your typical dive bar. We thought we were going for a single beer and ended up sitting for about ~4 hours enjoying a lovely evening in Kendall. Biscuits and the pork schnitzel were excellent in terms of food. For cocktails, we absolutely recommend the Mustang if you like Mezcal as well as the State Park (whiskey shot in a Miller High Life). Service from Nadia was excellent with great suggestions. Decor inside was amazing with the vintage Budweiser signs. We’ll be returning soon.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at State Park and truly could not have imagined a better experience. Chelsea was incredible to work with. She always available to answer our questions, and so helpful in planning the flow of the night. She made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. The night of the wedding, Nicholas managed everything seamlessly and kept the evening running so smoothly behind the scenes so we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The bartenders absolutely crushed it. Every drink was amazing and they somehow kept the bar moving incredibly fast all night long. Every single guest commented on how amazing the food was and how much fun they had. We’re still hearing about it weeks later. State Park created the perfect atmosphere for our reception and exceeded every expectation we had. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding night feel so special. Highly, highly recommend!
